About Dr. Abhishek
Dr. Abhishek S. Gowdar is a Consultant Neonatologist from Cloudnine Hospital. Under the services partnership between Genesiss Multi-Speciality Hospital and Cloudnine, he consults at Genesiss in BTM Layout daily from 5 PM to 7 PM, seeing newborns, babies and children.
He completed his MBBS at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (RGUHS) and his MD in Pediatrics at Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi. He worked as a Senior Resident in Pediatrics at Lok Nayak Hospital, MAMC, New Delhi, and then undertook super-specialty DM training in Neonatology at AIIMS Raipur (2023–2026) in a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, caring for premature and critically ill newborns.
He is a National Neonatology Forum (NNF) certified Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) instructor and a life member of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics. His research includes a 2025 case report in BMJ Case Reports, and he has developed digital tools for NICU teams, including TPNeo for nutrition and fluid calculations and Neo Track for monitoring the growth of premature babies.
